Joven Noble Youth leadership programs

CVYL utilizes a 10-week comprehensive youth leadership development program for adolescent young men ages 13-26, based on the nationally recognized Joven Noble curriculum written by Jerry Tello. 

Joven Noble supports and guides young men through a “rites of passage” process while focusing on the prevention of substance abuse, teen pregnancy, relationship violence, and school deficiencies. Students learn the concept of PALABRA or, “keeping your word”, and they embrace it to navigate their daily life by incorporating the values of love, trust, dignity and respect.
